You will get immerse in a local experience with natural and locally made shower products from Rocky Mountain Soap Company. You will enjoy your morning espresso right from our espresso machine, filled with fair-trade, locally roasted coffee. Relax in front of the fireplace while looking at the mountains.
The foodie in you will be well serve. The kitchen has everything you need to cook amazing meals, including spices. You’re a grill fan? You will have your gas BBQ on the private balcony, where you also find stools and bar for the happy hour.
When it gets cold outside, enjoy inside entertainment on one of the 3 TVs, including Netflix and Disney+. For bigger group and family, there is the most comfortable pull out couch with memory foam mattress in the living room. For those who likes to travel light, you will appreciate in suite large capacity washer and dryer.
As a bonus, we provide a Discovery Pass during your stay. This pass gives you access to all national parks, including Banff National Park, as well as access to some places within the park that usually require an admission fee. We do everything possible so you have the vacation you’ve been dreaming of.
This is a dog friendly condo. We need to know in advance, a form need to be filled and there is a 70$ fee for your dog.

Who are we?
My name is Rob, and my wife is Martine. I came to the Rockies for a summer camp in 2000 and 2001. I immediately fell in love with the area. I took my wife on a road trip in 2004 and she had the same reaction. It took us 10 years to finally leave the province of Quebec and cross the country with our 3 young children to start a new life in Canmore. Since 2014, we call it home. We love to explore those mountains by foot. We’ve scrambled a few of them and are always looking for new peaks to explore. We now have a furry friend that follow us everywhere, Bernie. You can see him on some pictures. We’ve been sharing our passion for the mountain with our guest since 2015. It’s been an incredible journey that brought us to meet some amazing people.

Summary: Great place to stay in Canmore. We were able to walk anywhere in the city we wanted to go and easily drive to access the 3 nearby ski resorts. Loved the condo, well equipped and clean. We’ve stayed in Banff and Canmore for skiing and I think we prefer staying in Canmore even though the drive is a little farther to the resorts. This is a great place for a couple or two to stay and access everything the area has to offer.

Summary: Excellent. The condo was exactly as marketed. The coffee machine was so good I barely ever bought coffee out. The windows and drapes could adjust so that I could be living above a physio and alcohol store and across from a grocery store and not see them only mountains. It was the best. Was quiet and convenient. Highly recommended

Summary: The nest in the Rockies is exactly that! My husband and I and our great friends Kevin and Susan, came here to see Banff Park. We were up early, hiked most days and it was wonderful to come back to the nest, have a nice fire and dinner to doit again the next day! The kitchen was well stocked, laundry room we put to terrific use and the location fantastic! So convenient and beautiful. Will definately be back!

Summary: Canmore is a great place to stay - convenient to Banff NP but also vibrant by itself with nice restaurants and plenty of nearby trails and wildlife. Magpie’s Nest was nice; a basic 2 bedroom 2 bath space in a condo bldg close to restaurants and retail. Space was functional but a bit tight for our family. Place is well-stocked and owner was easy to communicate with.
